Consortium Agreement (Course-Taking at UDM)

Single JD students at Windsor Law may have the opportunity to take elective law courses at partner institutions under a consortium agreement (such as with the University of Detroit or other schools where consortium enrollment is available). Under this arrangement:

  • Students remain registered at Windsor Law and pay Windsor tuition

  • Courses taken under the consortium can count toward your JD credit load (typically elective courses, not mandatory first-year requirements)

  • Enrollment is subject to space availability and priority for home-school students

  • Students must comply with the host institution’s academic and conduct policies

This option allows students to explore legal issues from different jurisdictions or perspectives while earning JD credits toward their degree.

(Because consortium course approvals vary each year, you’ll want to work with the Academic Office when planning these opportunities.)
