MSW / JD Program

The MSW/JD program is a joint degree offered with the Faculty of Social Work, designed for students interested in law, social justice, and interdisciplinary practice.

Program Streams

There are two program tracks:

Advanced Track
For students who already hold a Bachelor of Social Work

  • Three-year concurrent degree

Regular Track
For students without a Bachelor of Social Work

  • Four-year partially concurrent degree

  • Law I (Fall & Winter)

  • Social Work courses (Law I Summer)

  • Combined Law & Social Work courses (Law II & III)

  • Social Work placement (Winter)

Regular Track

  • Social Work courses (Year 1)

  • Law I (Fall & Winter)

  • Combined Law & Social Work courses (Law II & III)

  • Social Work placement (Winter)

Support & Orientation

  • You will attend both Windsor Law orientation and an additional Social Work orientation
